Kimberly Culver began working in the legal field as a legal secretary and later a legal assistant in Midland and Austin. Kimberly earned her associate's degree in Legal Assistant Studies at Midland College, her B.S. in Journalism at Texas A&M University, and her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.

Kimberly served as Staff Editor and Executive Managing Editor for the Estate Planning & Community Property Law Journal. During law school she served as an intern for Judge Robert Junell of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and as a law clerk for firms in Midland and Lubbock.
