Julie Tarrant has spent most of her life in the southern United States, growing up in Louisiana and Texas, with a brief international stint during her junior high years in Norway. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 with a degree in English and History.

After graduating, Julie spent sixteen months in China, teaching English to college students and young professionals. She returned to the Western Hemisphere in 2008, venturing to Chihuahua, Mexico to further her Spanish studies at the Interaction Language School. In 2010, Julie moved to Austin and joined The Snell Law Firm.

When not working, Julie enjoys traveling, playing music, tennis, and spending time with her family.
