AnneMarie K. McComb

AnneMarie McComb is an Austin native and moved back to Austin to begin practicing law after graduating from Baylor Law School in 2018. AnneMarie first began her practice as a litigator with a focus on personal injury litigation and medical malpractice defense. Since moving to Snell Law, she now focuses on general civil and commercial litigation and represents a wide variety of clients, including businesses and individuals.

AnneMarie is admitted to practice law in Texas State Courts and the United States District Court - Western District of Texas.

AnneMarie’s hobbies include traveling, singing and songwriting, and reading. She is also a strong community advocate and serves on the Mayor of Austin’s Corporate Engagement Council, which focuses on bringing Austin’s public and private sectors together to build a stronger and more equitable local community.

Notable Matters / Representative Experience

  • Successfully argued motion for new trial and overturned a $3.4 million judgment on behalf of a Snell Law client due to procedural defects in Tarrant County.
  • Obtained a multi-six-figure settlement on behalf of homeowners suing their builder for significant construction defects and property damage.
  • Obtained several highly favorable settlements on behalf of home buyers suing property sellers for fraud and failure to disclose property damage and construction defects at the time of sale.
  • Prevailed at the summary judgment stage in a multi-million dollar real estate litigation case, resulting in a dismissal of claims against the Snell Law client.
  • Obtained and defended a multi-six-figure settlement in a highly contentious business divorce litigation after several rounds of appeals by the opposing party.
  • Prevailed at the summary judgment stage in a real estate fraud case, resulting in a dismissal of claims against the Snell Law client and an award for her attorneys’ fees in full.
  • Successfully obtained a temporary injunction on behalf of a client involved in a dispute regarding alleged fraudulent transfer of assets.
  • Successfully argued against a bill of review challenging a default judgment, resulting in a dismissal of the petition for bill of review in favor of Snell Law’s client.
