On May 21, 2019, after a two-day jury trial in Travis County District Court, the Snell Law Firm secured a jury verdict in favor of its client, Studio M Select Wines.
The focal point of this suit was a poorly drafted 20-year-old billboard lease, which was inherited by Studio M and Defendant Reagan National Advertising of Austin, Inc. Studio M filed suit seeking a declaration that Reagan did not have the right to unilaterally renew the billboard lease for an additional lease term. As a result of the jury\’s verdict, Reagan must remove the billboard in October 2019.
Judge Maya Guerra Gamble of the 459th Judicial District Court in Travis County presided over the trial.
